What Is A Pneumatic Manifold?
A pneumatic manifold is a hub or junction for control and distribution of air or other gases. They typically have several to many ports that split off from a main channel to supply power to various other components in a device.
Characteristics of Pneumatic Manifolds
Pneumatic manifolds are fairly simple to design and manufacture. These products normally have large channel sizes (by CMG’s standards) with straight pathways and 90 degree intersections. The simplistic design makes them very cost-effective with short lead times. Their basic machining requirements also allow for many options when it comes to material selection.
